Methodology

Research Methodology & Sources

A structured approach from primary data to independent analysis.

Research Method

The series uses a structured evidence chain: Primary Data → Institutional Research → Industry Evidence → Cross-Regional Comparison → Author Analysis.

Evidence Standards

Core claims prioritise official and primary data and established international institutions. Industry and academic evidence are used where appropriate. Commentary is used for context rather than as the principal basis for quantitative claims.

Research Controls

Capacity is kept distinct from generation; historical observations from forecasts; forecasts from scenario requirements; and global averages from regional outcomes. Major quantitative claims retain unit, geography, period, scenario and source context.

Interpretation

The publication distinguishes directly evidence-backed findings, model-based findings and independent author analysis. Contradictory evidence is used to stress-test the thesis before publication.
